RSA SecurID Software Token for Web SDK allows developers to build an RSA SecurID software token application that protects specified web sites. It includes:
- an application programming interface (API) for developing HTML pages
protected by RSA SecurID.
- a Web SDK that is installed on the user’s computer. The Web SDK includes an
ActiveX control that can be hosted on a web page to provision a token or retrieve
a tokencode. The ActiveX control is not visible on the web page and can be
invoked by the JavaScript on the page. This allows web page authors to customize
and brand the application.
- RSA Authentication Manager, the authentication server that is used to
provision tokens to be used with the application.
